Shirlene Hopewell

CEO & Co Founder

Shirlene utilizes a person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative therapeutic approach in sessions that focus on the unique needs of her clients. This helps her to identify specific needs and develop workable goals to overcome current challenges. She provides a confidential, non-judgmental, and safe space for deeper understanding to promote healing and growth. 

 

Shirlene completed a nursing assistant program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant/ Geriatric Nursing Assistant, beginning her career working with (older) adults. She went on to pursue a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Social Work.  Following graduation in 2013, she began work in the mental health field. Her years of experience working in the mental health field have developed her understanding of best practices, enabling her to best support clients as they rework negative perceptions of events in their lives or of themselves and move forward.

Bridget Kidd

COO & Co Founder

Bridget brings her passion to serve others in everything she does. Compassion comes naturally to this mother of three, honed in a counseling practice that has spanned three decades. She is patient in her approach to cognitive-behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing motivational interviewing to better understand the needs of her clients. She has experience in providing play therapy for child clients and family therapeutic support. 

 

Bridget received a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia (Cum Laude) and an M.A. in Counseling from Regent University (Summa Cum Laude). Bridget began her career in Therapeutic Foster Care and has provided mental health counseling for adolescents and families in crisis for the past 30 years. Bridget is also a Licensed Mental Health Provider and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with extensive training in providing expert care for clients struggling with substance abuse and other mental health concerns.
